2026 - 2027 Acceptance Agreement

  • I agree to pay the Georgia Tech John H. Martinson Honors Program (JMHP) first-year program fee of $800, assessed in fall 2026 ($400) and in spring 2027 ($400). I understand that my participation in the JMHP is contingent on payment of this program fee when assessed and that there is no fee for subsequent years of participation in the JMHP.

  • I agree to participate in the required JMHP Retreat for entering students on August 17 - 18, 2026.

  • I agree to live in Eighth Street Apartments in fall 2026 and in spring 2027. I understand that as a rising second-year student (and beyond), I will participate in the Georgia Tech housing lottery in fall 2026.  If I secure housing via the lottery for the upcoming application cycle, I will have the option to live on campus in JMHP housing or anywhere else on campus that I choose, space available.  I also understand that, should I choose to live in JMHP housing, I will be required to live with other JMHP students.  If I do not secure housing via the lottery, I will be required to move off campus.

  • I understand that I will be bound by the retention policy of the JMHP, which is outlined on the JMHP website.  This policy outlines the conditions under which I can remain a member in good standing of the JMHP and the conditions under which I will be asked to leave the program.

  • I understand that if I complete the requirements of the JMHP, which are outlined on the curriculum section of the website, I will receive the recognition of "Completion of the John H. Martinson Honors Program," including notation on my transcript.

  • I agree to be a good citizen of the JMHP, Georgia Tech, and the larger community by taking advantage of JMHP classes, events, and activities; supporting my fellow JMHP students; building relationships with JMHP faculty; and getting to know and drawing on the support of the JMHP staff.
